In Between Seasons - Original Mixed Media Painting

Sometimes a painting just makes me happy while I'm creating it, and this was one of those pieces.

I enjoyed building up layers of clay-based paint, acrylics and acrylic inks until the flowers seemed to come to life. The bright pink blooms against the blues and greens remind me of a garden in full bloom.

I hope In Between Seasons brings colour, joy and a little bit of peace to the home where it finds its place.
