Paradise Blooms - Original Mixed Media Painting

I have always been drawn to tropical plants and the bold colours they bring to a garden. Paradise Blooms was inspired by the dramatic shapes of the Bird of Paradise and the lush foliage that surrounds it.

This original painting was created primarily with clay-based paint and acrylics, allowing me to build rich layers of colour, texture and movement throughout the piece. My hope was to capture the warmth and energy of a tropical garden while inviting the viewer to discover something new each time they look.
